Ellisville State Park cougar killed crossing 3A in S. Plymouth, MA IP: 65.96.238.68 Posted on August 23, 2016 at 01:46:26 PM by Rosie Healy
Back in around 2004-5 I was heading back to the Cape, traveling south on 3A around 11 p.m.. Just after passing the Ellisville State Park and halfway up the hill by the tall pine grove, a truck was pulled over, having just hit a very large animal. I was expecting to see a huge buck, based on the very dark brown color. When I pulled slowly by, I was shocked to see it was a cougar lying on the ground. I then found other accounts of sightings of the mountain lion of the Ellisville marsh. Replies:
