Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Bishop had taken after his mother in a lot of ways. Her birdcatching spots had left him with one small white freckle on his neck, but often obscured by the matted mess of her mane, with no mare to look after the strands now that he was on his own. His frame was smaller than his brothers, his sisters, all whom he had never met and would not recognize them even by their resemblence. The stallion had taken to pawing the earth, though his ears were pricked upright and there was a shining curiousity in his eyes, not impatience. He watched the slush move beneath his hooves, and was making mud by the time Argento answered his call. His feathes hooves steadied, though there was a flinch in in the muscles of his shoulder, making the shaggy pelt above jump. His muscular neck bowed, arching as his nose extended towards the flashier, larger draft.

"It is nice to see another face," he responded after a few moments in silence, looking as though he was selecting his words carefully, choosing them all with care before he took a large inhale and bold exhale, his insterest more of the cloud that formed at the end of his nose. "My name is Bishop. I was born close to here, on another island. I am looking for somewhere to stay," he was honest in his words, if not a little too blunt. There was a social aspect he was missing here, but he didn't seem the least bit troubled.

His description of the place was not very desirable, but perhaps he could liven the corpsey place up a bit.
