The woods were silent as she wandered, her hooves making almost no sound as she wound her way amongst the trees. This place was new but she had felt the call to come here, followed her stars until the led her to this place so different from everywhere else. A soft sigh of contentment left her muzzle as she stepped into the clearing, feeling the warmth of the stars as they washed across her lithe body. The stars, her stars which were always the same no matter where she wandered. Their positions may rotate and shift in the blue black of the night's grasp, but they were still there, still watching.
A smile graced her delicate features as they appeared to her trained eyes and she nodded to them each in turn. Cygnus the swan, Lyra the eagle, and above them both Draco the dragon, she greeted them each in turn as old friends, their light highlighting the white that washed over her neck and down her back. More often than not the star daughter spent her days sleeping and her nights wandering as she did now, a nocturnal creature really but she learned more in her solitude than by mingling with everyone else during the day, much as she enjoyed their company as well.
She was settling in shifting the weight of her tall, thin frame noise that brought her attention back down to earth once more. It was a silent night, with no moon marring the star’s gaze and that meant most all creatures stayed in their hovels until the crescent waxed once more. Still she had heard something and her bright azure eyes peered into the darkness with interest, ears flicking to catch the sounds of whomever approached. "Hello?" she questioned the blackness with a friendly, open gaze. She assumed them friendly as she did most things until proven otherwise, the slender girl's most apparent fault her too trusting nature.
