YOUR LOVE IS ALWAYS DANGEROUS
and now i'm lost in us

Zevulun’s smile stretched wider as she gave him a special new nickname, one she’d call him. He chuckled a little as he bent his muzzle inward and nodded in a quick, agreeable bob. When he looked back at her, his blue eyes were bright and his smile was still wide. “That’s more than okay with me,” he replied easily, ears flicking forward and gaze soaking the sight of her completely in. The more he thought about it, the more he liked it. “What’s your name?” He wanted to know… no, he needed to know.

At her further explanation, Zevulun was first pleased he had been right and secondly pleased to learn she’d just recently returned after some time away. It meant his initial thought, that she could be tucked away on some island with a stallion already calling her his own, was false. Not that it immediately meant she was looking for anything, but it certainly made Zevulun a little more comfortable in her company as his mind whirled for how best to impress this pretty moonlit lady.

His head tilted down, eyes peeking beneath heavy eyelids at her as she drew near. His body nearly quivered as an inward inhale drug her feminine scent into his muzzle, but he worked through the cloud of hormones swarming like mad in his mind to focus on what she said. “I know where Salem is,” he said, happy he could at least provide her that much information. “I’ve never been there though, so I’m not sure where the Desert could be…” Zevulun trailed off for a minute and then an idea struck him, immediately brightening his features as he snapped his gaze to her, eyes a little wide with excitement. “I could take you there, if you want? It’s… it’s kind of selfish on my part,” he had the decency to chuckle and look slightly ashamed before he explained further, “I really want to see every island, I’ve just barely started leaving mine and I’m loving traveling, but I want to see it all. If it’d… maybe make you feel better to have company, I’d love to go with you?” He left it hanging like a question between them, wondering if she’d turn him down. After all… he was just a stranger and she was a beautiful, lovely free mare.
