Paradiso was never really that close to his sister. She was sort of a brat when they were younger. His only real memories of their time together was her bossing him around. Then Shamwari showed up all of a sudden and he found out he had a brother. A little while later, he found out he had another one, too. It was all very complicated. Zevulun pulls him from these thoughts with his words, and Paradiso half smiles, tossing his head proudly to rid a few dark strands of his forelock from his view. He was thankful for Zevulun's laid back demeanor. There were games to play like with Argento in the Lagoon. Paradiso didn't feel like Zevulun was trying to fool him. He was just a down to earth, nice dude. No wonder Shamwari got along with his father.
Paradiso followed Zevulun's stare toward the treeline. His dark ears followed, pricking at attention as he waited for Maziel to emerge. He watched quietly as the mare with milky eyes wandered into the clearing and nickered gently in greeting. A chill ran down the length of his spine, and the spotted stallion's body shuttered for a second. She was beautiful. Paradiso hadn't logged too many experiences with mares -- Menkhet was bossy, like his sister, he was too young and too awkward to appreciate how pretty Valarian had been, and Bri, probably his first and forever friend, was his brother's lover. Nevertheless, he couldn't stop staring at Maziel.
"Hey there." He manages to mutter hoarsely. He shoots a glance at Zevulun and cracks a grin. "It's nice to meet you too."
Paradiso tries not to stare too hard at the mare, for fear of Zevulun catching on. So instead he lets his gaze bounce around at random. "So uh, what do you guys do for fun around here?"
