Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

insanity is all around us

Soon I know you'll see, You're just like me. Don't scream anymore my love, 'cause all I want is you.

It was as if they had all been waiting to come out of the woodwork. One after another, each man as varied as if they were not of the same species at all. Karash’s icy gaze narrowed as he examined each newcomer - none at all what he had expected to find in the depths of the Lagoon. Argento, while large and certainly capable of being intimidating, was not so. In fact, he reminded the prince of those who opposed his father in his homeland. How distasteful. As for the first stallion, who called himself Ernesto, well let's just say he baffled the Akhal-teke. Was he serious when he asked if he should bow? It was certainly not above him to say yes but he’d had no time to respond. Thus it was that he stayed silent throughout most of the introductions and chatter.

Paradiso. Harks swiveled toward the last to join their little group though he found nothing worthwhile, just a brute who did not know how to carry himself. ”I expected more when I heard stories of the great Lagoon men,” the buckskin sabino paused, pressing his lips into a tight line while he flicked his tail lazily. Entirely disappointing really, here he had expected to find men among men. Warriors. Thinkers. Those who might be worth his time, and yet, all he found was a rag tag group unworthy notice. ”As I told Ernesto, I am Karash Han, and your lagoon, Gent, seems to be on the brink of crumbling.”
