Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Lucia is a bright light in an otherwise dim world. She is filled with a radiant goodness that shines so bright sometimes it hurts me deep inside. I am a creature with a dark past and that darkness still rests inside me. I'm not foolish enough to assume I could always get away unscathed. I had manipulated, lied, and poisoned my way quite literally to where I wanted to be. Being a Queen had not lent me the power I had always craved because I was undermined more often than not by the other half of darkness that had stained me. Looking down at her excited face I felt a moment of triumph. That I could create something like this! But she is more of Exodus than me. He believes in me with all his heart and even as he gives me a questioning look I respond with a hesitant flip of my ears and tremulous smile. I housed so many secrets and I wonder if I told him... would he think bad of me about how fate had intertwined my soul?

She was gone at any rate. I could feel it and I felt relief at it. Rumor had it that Iromar was in an uproar or had been but I stayed out of those politics. Mostly I kept hidden away so that the world might forget my name and what it was associated with. For now.

"Well we can certainly try," I say to Lucia as she leaps onto me, a wiggling mass of fur. With Exodus near it is easy to be light and carefree and I bask in his attention much as Lucia basks in watching us. "Where is this Aaron boy from? Maybe we can find more friends there," I say smoothly though in truth I want more information on who he is. Just to make sure that my past hasn't followed me here to haunt my child. I had no clue about Exodus hiding his own.... I never suspected the secrets he had himself. "Wait," I say dramatically, tipping my head a bit so that my belly starts to gurgle. "I think your father came back just in time. I was getting so hungry I thought I might have to take a little bite from you," I say playfully with a light growl as I lean down slowly to nip at her, expecting her to dance back, in which case I turn my attention to Exodus with a sly grin and an exaggerated lick of my lips.
