Surprise. Surprise. The mare's body language immediately stiffens when her eyes finally settle on him, leaning against the rough bark of the tree's trunk. Casually he flicks his dark tail back and forth over his hocks, much like that of a cat who has found a something worthy to play with. His smirk widens as the spotted mare takes the bait, he has piqued her curiosity. He even takes notice of her sudden switch in moods, she has played the pissed off card well, but he had known she could not resist his charm.

"Depends... what kinda trade are you talkin' about?"

"A cool sip of water.." He pauses for dramatic effect and lets the silence span between them. He hopes that she is hanging on every word that leaves his open maw. "For your name." She could of course, refuse, and find the gurgling creek that hides just within the forest's edge or she could play along. He dares to leave the rough bark of the tree trunk to step closer to the spotted woman, she intrigues him. Her sweet scent mixes with the damp earth to create an enticing perfume, it beckons the grullo stallion nearer. He closes the distance between them and offers his pink muzzle to her, offering her an exchange of breaths. He arches his thick neck, sinewy muscles ripple beneath his hide.

Vivid blue eyes gage her reaction to his closeness, insuring that if her defensiveness returns he would have ample time to retreat just out of reach of her hooves and blunt teeth.
