PERSEPHONE

The heat was almost unbearable as Persephone made her way around the edge of the Desert and into the slowly sloping territory of the Dunes. She had spent too long here already after running into the Desert and Evren first unintentionally, and already she could not wait to return to the temperate land of Luthien.

She was not about to leave without making the visit she had first set out to make, however, and so here she was just past the border of the Dunes. She went no further than that, however, before she paused and raised her head to call out and announce her arrival. Persephone had no intention of startling the owner of this land and making a bad first impression.

While she waited to see if anyone would respond, she eyed the surrounding land with curiosity. The lack of green was so unfamiliar, to her the land looked empty and void of life, yet it was nonetheless an interesting and impressive sight to behold.
