Everyday he worried about her. Wondered if he made the right choice by leaving her behind. Worried about her safety but knowing almost instinctively that she would care for and defend herself even if he were to mention it. He watches her, his brilliant yellow gold eyes studying her slim muzzle for some semblance of a smile. Hell, he would be excited for even a grin at this point... but he knew it was perhaps too much to ask for. He did leave without a word. A soft smile tugs at his lips as he lets his brilliant multifaceted eyes roam over her lithe figure, taking in each curve and contour of her frame and comparing it to the image he had already saved up. She appeared healthy, slim, but well fed and that at least gave him a small bit of relief. Still his soul remarked that it was no excuse.

She turns to him now and his ears perk up, yellow eyes with their small sliver of green meeting the fire eyes of her own as she speaks. His heart lurched.
