War is a game that is played with a smile

He was numb as he swam the distance from Salem to Atlantis. Atlantis had always been a beautiful place and that is why he had made Paradise his home once, but by some force Salem had called to him. He preferred the heat of the desert and the feeling of the sand crumbling beneath him above all the other terrains. He didnt know the cause of this, but his father had been from a far off desert.

Cap reached the shore of his old stomping grounds. He smiles as he walked a straight line down the shore. The place felt empty and only the sea could be smelt so he moved freely without worry he would offend anyone. Paradise was as beautiful as it had been years ago, but it would never be perfect without the herd of the Shore. Debonaire, his mother, and his siblings.

The skinny frosted chestnut turned inland until the two horses came into veiw. He froze in place, curved ears standing straight up, and his breaths slowed. It was possible the two hadn't noticed him yet as they seemed to be in an embrace of sorts, but he was conflicted. Cap was not a good lier and to turn away now and leave would be rude. On the other hand, these two may not welcome an unknown male on their turf.

Still, right was right no matter what happened next. The stallion built up his courage and began the walk towards them. He sent out a whinny of 'hello' before getting too close and stopped just close enough to speak normally to the mare and young stallion. "Oh, Kerr pardon me! I wasn't aware anyone was living here."
