Current tail sections cost $600. Many teams have multiples. Cost cutting by spending makes no sense. If the intent is to get more isma guys to bolt it on to race the logical answer is let them run that if they wish, I dont think current teams would have an issue with that. If the argument is dirty air with the tails as they are, well 20 wings in the same position will do the same thing. Aesthetically they are ugly as hell and take one of the sleakest looking type of racecar and make it look like a riding lawn mower with a wing on the back. Guarantee the speedway will go from one of the highest car count years in recent history to one of the lowest. What a shame!
