A political commercial pushing a proposition for more funding for higher education is currently airing on our local TV stations; a commercial which contains some numbers that I find surprising.
The commercial goes on to say that by 2020 77% of all jobs in Denver will require college degrees, whereas only 25% of Denver's high school graduates are currently going to college.
Even if these numbers are exaggerated (as they usually are in political commercials), I find anything close to the 77% number to be hard to believe.
