Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He felt bad that Talien had to go through this pain with him but at the same time, he felt selfish because he liked that she was here with him. Just her being here, this close, helped ease his grief. His soul was making up for where his heart was now empty. It was just a temporary bandaid but he'd take it. He knew that she might still be aching over the male that didn't pick her and a part of him still wanted to do something violent to make up for it but he knew that wouldn't help in the end. She deserved the best and he wanted her to find that some day. He sniffled, feeling bad that he got her fur all wet with his tears. He didn't see Talien as often as he would like since they imprinted but he couldn't remember ever seeing her with dirt in her fur or anything of the like and she used to tease him about how sandy it was here.

He smirked at the thought of it. She teased him about getting her wet on purpose and he chuckled a little, despite the harshness of it from his crying. He sniffled again but his eyes were a little brighter as he turned to her. "Next thing you know, I'll have you playing in the rain with me." His lips twitched with humor. He knew he would heal from this. Sure, it would take time but with an imprint like Talien, he felt like he could get through anything. He sighed before looking back at her. "So while you're here, want to try some crab or something? I've got plenty for Tritan and I already scavenged. Might give you a little culture." He smirked a little again, hoping to keep the good feelings rolling.
