There was someone else out here, Riven could hear hooves crushing frosted grass. Someone had answered her call, but… who? Friend, foe, what? There was really no way to know until she stared them in the face, right? With the direction of the wind, Riven couldn’t have even told you if the stranger was male or female.
The figure that appeared wasn’t so unlike her own, built not for the cold. Hot blooded, desert blooded, something that left them with fine bones and quick feet. There’s a soft whicker in the mare’s chest, softer than her call before. No ,this was friendly. Her ears flickered forward, eyes intent on the stranger, looking for an intent.
Creed, the silvered creature took the name in, rolling it around in her mind for just a moment. ”Riven, nice to meet you.” The breath she didn’t realize she’d been holding was released slowly from her chest, nodding once to herself. This was okay. Things would be okay.
Unable to help herself, she finds a question in her chest. ”Is it always so… so quiet here?” Tail swishing softly, head raising to peer out at the world around her. Everything was so… eerie out here. Unsettled and unsure, Riven took it all in regardless.
