About two years ago I spent about $700.00 to install a "Point Of Use" water heater under my master bathroom sink. The major expense was that it required a 700 amp line and separate circuit breaker. The main water heater is at the other end of the house, and waiting for hot water took at least a minute and a half. Now it takes five or six seconds. That saves a lot of water and energy. I've had recirculators in the past, but they failed after a year or two. The POU heater is from Home Depot, and costs about $150. As I age, I have to go to the bathroom more, night and day. It is really great to have quick hot water to wash up. Replies:
