Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Are we written in the sand

Despite all the drama that involved being the mother of the Lagoon Boss, Cherish was rather delighted. Life felt great right now as long as she could avoid an unwanted argument with Cullen. Even the chill of the wind couldn't reel in her energy, but it was the colt beside her that complained. Augustine grumbled and grunted at each bite of cold air against his small frame. The bay colt was only a few weeks old and he didnt seem to navigate as well as Cheriah remembered her past foals had.

Something was wrong with him.

Finally, a final squeal from her son got her attention. A loud sigh, followed by an eye roll, Cherish slowed down and looked to her child who stood shivering in the wind. "Fine! Have it your way!" She snorts in her child's direction before beginning the search for proper shelter from the wind. It was then that she spotted the sire of her foal casually drinking away. Cherish's eyes immediately lit up and she picked up a trot towards him. Augustine sighed and slowly followed along after his dam who was now nickering at Ernesto.

She had a lot of questions for the stallion she hasn't seen since the mating. Why has Soljor ghosted her this way? It wasn't like her lover to not love on her for so long. "Soljor!" She shouts as she closes in. Cherish stops right in front of him, close enough to reach out and touch him. "I have so many questions!" She didn't pause for very long before rambling off. "Will our son have an accent like yours? I don't remember you having an accent before...Soljor are you feeling okay?" She realized there was probably a weird look on his face by now.
