He felt like he was finally in the big leagues after being conditioned since colthood. He was by his father's side a lot, but it always had to be kept secret that he was actually his son. To everyone else, he was a colt Warsaw found all alone in the meadow. It wasn't fully a lie, but Warsaw knew the mother couldn't have been far so he was quick to snatch the boy up. Requiem was a son Warsaw didn't expect to come after, but fate had brought Warsaw upon the yearling at just the perfect time. Warsaw changed his identity, starting with his name, and whispered promises of being something great one day. Warsaw promised Requiem he might inherit all that he had when it came time for his death.

Requiem was beginning to think that might soon change if he sires a child with his new lead mare. A son from their union would be much more important than the son he has been training this whole time. Hope was restored, only a little when father approached and asked him to do an important task that involved strengthening their herd. He was too travel to the Bay and get the answer of its new King. Find out if his father would need to fight for his dream or if they could agree on it. Warsaw was not good at negotiations so he was sending his son in case he might be able to get this over quick without a brawl. At the same time, Warsaw was always ready to fight and this was such a big thing to fight for.

The cream champagne could not say no to this task. He would show his father he was ready for the big tasks and he could be successful doing them. Nerves slowed him down, but he eventually made his way into the Bay one morning. He did not venture far, but he did have to remind himself this land was no longer free to roam as he pleased. Another herd was here with a stallion to drive him out. He let out a call with young vocals to bring this Liland character towards him. He knew only what his father told him of the Bay King and that was only a description.
