Trees being cut down in breeding season

Private logging company is surveying private property to harvest trees within the Simcoe forest. This is directly next door to my property and I know that there are nesting Woodpeckers, and others in this area. The Bird Migratory ACT suggests that birds are to be protected during this time. Question: What can I do as a concerned citizen?
