DVA subcontract Medibank to provide medical services at an agreed scale of fees.
Medibank have decided to sub-subcontract some of these medical services to BUPA at lesser scale of fees.
Some practicioners are not happy with the BUPA scale of fees so will discontinue treating patients.
I could have misunderstood, but if you are already undergoing a course of treatment under the Medibank scale, you get up to another 12 consults at the Medibank scale to complete the course of treatment,
Then the BUPA scale starts, at which point your practitioner may decide it is not worth their time to continue treatment and you will have to find someone else.
