He had not exactly gone home after he left Raider in the commons. He gave the boy his offer, but he wasn't about to waste time sticking around to see if he would turn up. Instead, Cullen decided to entertain himself since the Lagoon did little of that lately. He slipped into the sea and made his way towards a random island.

It was Lutheran he found himself on, the Prairie to be exact. He quickly focused on a group of horses in the distance and picked out the first female that caught his eye. She seemed like a darling little number, had two young fillies with her too. The mare was pale in color and easy to keep track of against the golds, browns, and greens of this landscape. The fillies would be the easier target, but he had doubts that he could snag both. Either of them would suffice. Cullen proceeds, but it is not long until a stallion takes notice.

He would come to find this clash of hooves against the red stallion even more of a prize than taking a mare home. A mare would do nothing for his pleasure, but a good fight was much more priceless to him. He found himself lost in every blow he felt and every counter attack he made. His world whirled around him as his mind was clear of any thoughts, save for one. Attack. He attempted to drive the stallion back, towards the females he protected, but the red stallion proved to be a worthy opponent.

Just as Cullen thought he was winning, the other male turned the tides in his own favor. He would have kept attacking, he had the energy, but his instincts told him it was time to go. His injuries were bad enough that if he kept going he could be put into a situation he may never return from. His men needed him, or at least that was his thought in order to turn tail and run. He fought the notion to turn back and strike with every step he took towards the ocean.

It wasn't until he reached his swamp he began to feel the real aftermath of the fight. Adrenaline was at its all-time low as he dragged himself towards Raider. He was glad to see him show up and was hopeful this was a good sign to Raider joining his band. He nickers before limping towards him. "Good to see you again Raider." He snorts and tries to find a comfortable position, but it was almost impossible.
