Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

this is the end

It seemed that he'd managed to amuse the other male wolf with his words of smelling differently. Exodus noted the lift in the wolf's brow when he mentioned chopping blocks but he didn't look offended so Exodus had to take that as a good sign. Maybe he wasn't so bad at this whole conversing thing, after all. At least the guy hadn't told him to go away, yet. When he mentioned his own age, he saw the instant skepticism in the other wolf as he looked over Exodus as if trying to find some tell tale mark of age. True, Exodus' thick fur hid most of his scars and he had the silver fur on some parts of his body anyway just from his genetics but he felt the age sometimes, that's for sure.

The wolf repeated his name and some of what he said before asking if there were others like him. Exodus nodded. "Yes, some wolves choose to be loners here. Usually the free lands are abundent with other wolves just socializing or making their own private home among the neutral grounds." The other wolf didn't seem overly trusting, which Exodus could understand, so he patiently waited while the other wolf looked around and sized him up again. Then the male gave his name as Morgan and Exodus smiled, bowing his head a little. "Pleasure to meet you, Morgan." He waited patiently as the other male moved from the rocks to more stable ground. As he looked Exodus over more up close this time, Exodus saw a flash of something in his eyes even as a smirk tugged at Morgan's lips. Was he amused by his size? Most were intimidated, but Exodus much preferred amusement.

He was sure the male could see his battle scars now, too, though, even the ones he wasn't so proud of, the ones that marked him as a killer. He shifted his weight but turned his gaze back to Morgan when he spoke. His own eyes lit up when Morgan said that he had a daughter and asked where to keep her from roaming. He shook his head, his smile sad. "Unfortunately, there's no one place that's considered dangerous anymore. Most of the packs around here are peaceful but the wolves that aren't so peaceful tend to hunt in the free lands. I have a daughter myself, Lucia. I have taught her some defense moves but I still worry about her all the time."
