The stallion was bold, but that didn't really surprise her. He wasn't a young stallion by any means which meant he would be seasoned and confident in himself. It showed in the little smirk that tugged at his lips as she responded. He agreed that he didn't know her and said he knew Rougaru. She snorted, tossing her head as her tail flicked. "A stallion doesn't define me." Her eyes narrowed in challenge as she pawed at the water again, one ear and a single eye trained on him carefully. She, too, knew Rougaru would probably make his appearance at some point, but she wasn't about to turn down a good confrontation. She wanted to poke and prode at this stallion, find out what made him tick. He brought up Rougaru coming to round her up and she lifted her head daringly before arching a brow in his direction. "You'd like that, wouldn't you?" He then asked if she considered Paradise her home and she tilted her head a little, eying him with more curiosity before taking a step toward him. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were trying to charm me away by questioning my loyalty. I don't even know your name, flamey, neither do you know mine. Of course, that didn't matter when you were trying to steal me like a ripe apple someone left unsupervised." Sarcasm dripped from her lips like honey as she sized him up, waiting to see what he'd say next. She had a feeling there was more motivation behind his round about words than just being here at the same time. She wanted to find out exactly what this stallion was all about.
