Life Goes on and on

10 years, mare, paint, katie

By far labor was not easy and it was very painful. The result however; was a beautiful colt in this time around. Two colts, well that didn't bother her one bit. Perhaps next time a filly would grace them but for now this little colt was the one who chose to grace them. She knew that Creed may be worried about her due to her breathing and occasional snorts of pain but she did good in keeping calm and just watching.

She didn't want to risk any predator's finding them too soon. One predator Creed could probably handle but if the predator had come in force while she was in the middle of this process that would of resulted in disaster possibly for herself even. it does not but its a must especially for when we moveShe says as she cleans the colt who is now struggling to his feet. Falling down a few times in the process before finally finding them. She then encourages him toward her teets to drink. First milk was always important. Your first birth will probably be the hardest and most painful, in my opinion better to have that one while your youngShe says.

He is finished and after licking his butt to encourage him to go to the bathroom she softly nickers to him and moves out of the brush and back toward where they left Tarek and Yngvar. She knew her oldest wasn't too keen on the idea right now of being a big brother but he would get over it. Her sides are still heaving a little as she regains her breath and moves to nuzzle both Tarek and Yngvar. What do you think about Black Out for a name? She asks Tarek.

Yngvar grazes by his father. He knew no other stallion anyways that could of been his father. His one ear on his father as he speaks while the other twitched this way and that and he snorted at what his father spoke.yah right, you'll be with it toohe said in response to his father saying he'd be able to spend a whole lot more time with him even leaving the land to explore. He;d be stuck doing that himself.

The little colt stood up on his wobbly legs after a few minutes. His little body standing there and only moving when his mother seems to want him to move toward her hind end where his little snout then found his food source and began to suckle. Not long after that they were moving toward two larger horses. The little colt clung to his mothers side.
