Lissa may of lost her battle against the bastard, but she still didn't view him as any greater then she, He did not put her in her place if that what she thought he did. She would get free of this stupid brute one way or another. If he hadn't insulted his son their wouldn't of been an issue. However; he had. She returned to the island with minor cuts. Her swollen leg from the snake bite had gone down. She returned to her son who she would no longer let Rougaru have anything to do with him. Till the bastard can learn his own place. He needed to learn his manners and how he insults others especially his own son.
Lissa lets Noctis nurse before moving them away from the herd, She had no want to be part of a herd that was led by a stallion who insults his own flesh especially when said son is definietly the strongest born a colt could be. She took her son on a walk along the outskirts of the territory purposefully leaving her scent every where. She held herself high. the blood on her neck from a bite slowly stopping.
She had left scars on him too she knew she had how bad though she didn't know nor did she care to find out. She would escape from this place one way or another , even if she had to find another stallion to challenge for her freedom. She did not care at this point. She had come to this island respecting this stallion liking him even and then he goes and throws it in her face by claiming their son was Weak. Noctis followed after his mother kicking up his feet and tossing his little head oblvious to her anger. Thankfully for rougaru he hadnt understood his words back then, however; at a month old he was starting to understand words and body postures of his parents. He could tell his mother was not happy and that made him unhappy. His mother was at the moment his world.
