*~My Next Collison Course~*

He felt a little better after his spar with Cullen. Sure, he'd lost, but he knew he was rusty with fighting. It had been months since his all too real fight with Denver, his supposed best friend. And he'd lost that one, too. Though after he'd seen the mare he'd thought he'd spend the rest of his life beside wrapped around the other stallion, most of his determination had gone out the window. The battle was lost before it'd even began. Collision had decided in the midst of all the hooves flying and teeth gnashing that he didn't want that happy ending he'd set up for himself, anymore. He didn't want the herd he was supposed to inherit or the mare he was supposed to make his queen or the friend he was supposed to have as a right hand. He didn't want any of it anymore cause betrayal cut deep and he was numb.

But that time was past and now he had a fresh start with the bachelors. The spar with Cullen had loosened up some muscles that needed it and now he was ready for more. He used to love sparring with the other stallions in his former herd. Fighting was a good way to blow off steam and learn to focus. He always felt like he was better for it after every fight. He didn't know how much he'd come to miss that feeling until now. It gave him the determination to go to the shore and swim across to the free lands. He didn't know what he wanted to find once he got there but he had to do something. He needed to start pulling his weight with the bachelors, whether it be to recruit more stallions or find some mares that didn't mind the extra protection.

He wasn't one for raiding or stealing or he couldn't bring himself to go to the common. He knew what happened there. He couldn't "claim" a mare and drag them to the Lagoon. That just wasn't who he was. He'd rather give them an invitation and leave the choice up to them. Sure, he might not get as many successes that way but it was better than nothing. He shook his coat out when he came ashore and moved toward the falls, wondering who he might come across.
