Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

That beauty is a puzzle

He wonders if he was doing this charming thing right. The mare didn't seem hostile towards him, but she also didn't seem to be falling at his hooves. He just wasn't as good as his father was, but he would learn. It just took practice. The ladies seem to melt when Ernesto talks, but his voice wasn't so captivating. His first thought was to blame his mother, but then his father's words that he should respect her follows right after. Maybe his father's charm was because he seems so caring about what mares need or want.

Adelia's words made it clear what she wants, to escape. He thought about helping her, even knew his friend Collision Course would help in this matter, but it was too dangerous. Could he betray his brother like that? Cullen wasn't just his brother by the herd, but his actual blood. He wasn't sure this mare was worth that heartache. Unfortunately for her, most stallions thought they were the greater species. It was natural for a stallion to think this way. "Lo siento." He says in the Spanish tongue he was learning from his sire.

"I would help if I could, but I have family and friends here. They are important to me." He says with a soft smile. He watches Adelia for a moment or two and studies her stocky frame. She was thicker than himself but shorter. Her mane was short too where his hair was longer, thin, and wavy. His hair was a mix of his breeds, a mix between his dam and sire. "I don't know how to make you feel better, but would you care to walk with me? I could show you around." He asks her in a final effort to get her calm and off this topic that makes her angry.
