He tries to swallow the lump in his throat, but it stays as a persistent thorn in his side. She smirks at him, which makes his heart thump, and says his name. He could faint right now. Sweat began to pool on his pale forehead and his mouth went dry. Tavas confirms she was here to stay, but he also catches the quick remark she makes at the end. For now... The words echo in his mind. He knows he was not the most suitable for her or the best fit to protect her, but he would show her care. He would never force her to multiply their family or force her love. If she didn't like him she could find someone she did like despite what Warsaw might think. Of course, he wouldn't let her go without trying a relationship first.

She asks if he would show her around and he grunts with nervousness. He tries to say 'okay', but nothing comes out. He tries again, but still nothing. Finally, he just resorts to a nod. A pale muzzle reaches out to gently touch her shoulder before he turns his body away from the Inlet. As soon as he was faced the other direction a smile creeps upon his lips. He touched her! This scene was like one of his dreams where he escorts Tavas around the Bay. Sometimes Evanescence is with them, but usually, it is just them. Requiem begins to lead the palomino deeper into his Bay. He breaths in every scent, watches every bird flying overhead and listens to the sweet music they play for them.

He continuously tries to get rid of the lump in his throat, but he fails. It took until they made it to the stream for him to finally say something. "Like what you see?" He asks, referring to the Bay. He did find it nice here with a lot more population of wildlife. Sometimes that was good and some times bad, but he wouldn't give this place up to go back to the inlet. His father's home seems stuffy now that he had a taste of the Bay.
