Ana limps another fews strides, her legs quiver beneath the weight of her body. She slows to a halt each breath rattles through her nostrils. The blustering wind pushes against her body, making it almost impossible to hear the approach of another. Ana witnesses the surprise as the pale mare almost stumbles over herself to get away from her. Are you OK? Ana swivels her head towards the pale girl. "Please, tell me what you think?" Her words dripping in sarcasm. "I have washed up in a strange land, its damned cold, and I managed to cut my head." She looks down at the mare with her single good eye.

"Could you atleast tell me what this place is called?" She says gruffly, her voice hoarse from swallowing the salty ocean water. Ana swivels her head around, her eye taking in all of the scenery. She finds herself on a stony beach, massive lodgepole pines jut from the earth, and craggy peaks of mountains can be seen in the distance. Atleast she hadn't found herself in a desert... She despises the heat.

Ana's gaze wanders back to the pale mare at her side. She eyes the perfect little mare, from her pale coat to her perfect eye sight. She just knows that this girl had never seen a day of hardship, no scars litter her coat... she had both eyes. Ana wants to throw a fit, to curse the gods for shoveling her with such unfortunate damn luck. Why?! She inwardly screams. And Now! She has to try to make small talk with the pale stranger. Oh Ana, quit. Your embarrassing us. Ana pins her ears into her mess of tangled locks. "Who are you to tell me what to do?" She whispers.
