Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

kočka myši nenechá, liška slepic a vlk ovec

She is ruled by two emotions in nearly equal measure. Terror and fury. To be separated from kunžak is a nightmare come true. He is her solace, her peace, and her only comfort in a life that has laid so much torment upon her shoulders. She should have known better than to become so dependent on him. She should have known better than to think she deserved some peace and that the holy matka would let her have it.

it had been a struggle to accept that Kune would fight on her behalf but she understood why he had to. Deep down she knew he felt responsible for her, a true stracee, and he would never be shamed by allowing her to defend herself. It was a matter of honor. Now she wished she hadn’t allowed it. Not because she thought she would have bested the lagoon scum, but because she didn’t want to kunžak feel like he had failed her, didn’t want him to live with any more of the guilt than she knew he already carried from before. It was done. She had known the battle would be difficult. The lagoon stallion had the advantage.... familiarity, experience, and a disgusting lack of honor. he fought dirty. And ultimately that would be kune’s downfall. And her own.

she doesn’t say goodbye, doesn’t trust herself to. It was hard enough without speaking. She can only summon the courage to glance at him once, a storm brewing in the depths of her black eyes. She tries to appear calm to hide the panic bubbling in her veins at the thought of being separated from him... she can only hope he will be there when she returns.

she is ruled by two emotions, almost equally. As she turns from the base of the peak into the lagoon she can feel one emotion begin to erode the other. Fury takes hold. She feels something unhinge deep in her mind. Perhaps this will be the straw that breaks her back. She is a thundercloud, ominous and dark, as she walks solemnly into the murky dank territory of the lagoon. She would not be rushed or cajoled along the way. She ignores the bachelor, driving her ears so far into the black nest of hair at her poll that they almost disappear completely. Her body is rigid with anger. How dare he... she would honor the rules of battle in this land, stay as their captive, but she would not be threatened or maimed. They would soon learn to leave her alone. when she had travelled far enough into the swamp, tasting it in the stale air she breathed in, she refuses to move further. If Cullen wished to show off his prize he would have to bring his lackeys to her. She did nothing to hide the disgust and rage that consumed her. She stood tall, a sneer cast on her bold features, a black fortress, and in her eyes a fire burned. As soon as she was free, she would be resolute. She would make them pay.
