The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.
bite me

The mare was curious, her posture speaking of pride but yet she looked at him like she knew the roles here. Good for her. At her question of whether he expected her to follow him home, he chuckled and tossed his mane. "Let's just say I'm not known as the most popular guy with the ladies right now." As she moved closer, his skin tingled and when she moved to groom him, he actually jerked a little, so uncertain of the action. His lips curled back at first, thinking she was trying to bite him and he would return the favor but he noted that her teeth didn't aim to pierce the skin and the motion actually felt...good. A different good than when he covered her or when he got a taste of someone's blood, but good, all the same. He leaned into the gesture a little, though his ears flicked back and forth, still uncertain.

She told him that she grew up in the cold so it might take her some time to get used to the heat. She said she hoped he didn't mind her leaving to cool off sometimes. He nodded. "As long as you don't plan on finding trouble when you go out." Even away from his herd, he would keep an eye on his members. If anyone moved to harm or threaten them in any way, he wanted to be there. It was his job, after all. She took him up on his offer of a tour, saying she should get to know her home. He curled his lips in more of a smirk as he started walking. He pointed out the few oasis spots he'd found in his time here, along with water sources and the few trees that somehow managed to grow in this place. Their branches weren't very big but they did offer some shade. He even took her to a special spot he found where the sand had given way to a sink hole and formed a cave under the sand. It was cooler under here and there was water to be found inside, a small pool that seemed almost spring-fed.

He hadn't shown this to anyone else yet but it's not like he gave many tours.
