Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Argento listened with interest as Collision gave him the low-down on what had been happening in the Lagoon, which was to say… not much at all, if Collision was being honest. Gent looked back at the stallion with surprise. The Lagoon had been quiet to the point of being empty when he had left it years ago, but with its formidable reputation and Gent’s own experience, it seemed strange that a place so full of testosterone would be so… calm. Gent wondered why that was. Perhaps he would finally have to have a proper conversation with Cullen. Maybe he - or the Lagoon as a whole - was simply not in the business of stirring up drama anymore.

Perhaps Gent could do something about that.

Before he could reply, however, Diamant spoke up - or rather, mumbled something about going to take a walk. “Oh,” Gent replied, “All right, just don’t go getting into trouble.” There were a few moments of quiet as he watched Diamant’s tall, muscular form retreat into the trees. Only when Diamant was well out of earshot did Gent speak again.

“He likes his alone time,” Gent explained to Collision. “Though, while we’re on the subject, I must apologize on his behalf. You see, a few years back he had a little bump on the head. Ever since then he’s been… two geese short of a flock. He totally lost his memory for a good few weeks, and while most of the recent ones are back, he’s still not quite himself. Mood swings, you see.” Gent made a face as if to say, You know how it is. “Well, anyway. He wasn’t keen on coming back to the Lagoon, but we figured he should have family close by, you know?”

Gent sucked in a heavy inhale and flashed Collision a grin. “Anyway, apologies for rambling. I’m sure you could care less about our family drama.”
