The other stallion seemed to have a lot on his mind, his gaze distant at times between their conversation. But Kamekaze was in no hurry so he let Liland take his time and let his own mind wander as he glanced around. The Bay was actually very pretty. It'd be nice to explore more if he was allowed to stay. Liland finally turned back to him, telling him he'd have to earn his trust. He made it sound like he had a particular problem with other stallions right now, like he didn't usually, but Kamekaze didn't want to read into it too much. It was obvious the stalliion had a lot on his mind but as of right now, it was really none of his concern. He dipped his head. "Of course, I understand. I'll keep my head down and any questions you want to ask, feel free. I have nothing to hide." He hoped that would open up the conversation a little more. Maybe it would make Liland feel better to be able to grill him about his past and know more about him. He wanted to ask how he could help with whatever Liland was dealing with, but they would have to get to some place of trust before he felt he could wade into that territory. He smeleld the air. There wasn't many mares here, but there was mares present. He wondered when he would be okay to socialize with them. With it being breeding season, he figured Liland might be on close watch for now and not want him near them in case he got any funny ideas. Kamekaze planned on doing exactly as he said for now and just keeping his head down at least until the season passed and Liland wouldn't have to worry about him trying to breed any of his mares. Then maybe he could work on getting to know them and making some friends. He wouldn't lie. He was a ladies' man and loved to flirt, but he wouldn't go any further than that out of respect to Liland's territory and title.
