The road goes ever on

He felt like forever this mare and himself just stood across from each other frozen and staring at one another. They both looked like deers in a headlight, unsure of what to do and waiting for someone to make the next move. The mare seems wary of strangers, but he couldn't blame her. He knew what strange males could do to a mare and there was no way he could convince her that he wasn't the same. He could only show her that in time, but he had no time to dance around the subject right now. He had to find Primrose.

The mare shook her head and he read her body language clearly, she had not seen Prim. He feels a pit of worry and sorrow swirl in his gut to the point he felt sick. He fights the urge to throw up in front of the Forest mare. The black mare's words confirm she does not know his cousin nor much of her own herd for that matter. She says she hopes he finds her. It was a nice gesture, but he sighs. "Thanks anyway." He says. He turns to leave but stops after a few steps. It might be a good idea to give this mare his information in case she does find anything out later. His head turns to look at her.

"If you hear anything would you let me know? I live right across the border in the Prairie. Roheryn de Mikhail is my name, Mikhail being my father and Roheryn being my given name." He explains why he introduces himself briefly, but he doesn't get into the religious reasons he always keeps his father's name attached to his own. It was just a tradition passed along by his mother. He waits for her answer before leaving to return back home. As far as he knew, he has searched the majority of the Forest with no sign of Primrose and no scent trail to follow so there was no reason to continue on here.
