The mare fought back, typical of her, but he loves it when they do. She kicks and stomps and protests his actions, but he continues to try and drive her closer to the sea. He did well to dodge her attempts at attack, but she assures him she does not want to leave this place. Really it didn't matter to him so he continues to fight with her. Then another mare appears and jumps into the struggle. She lands a bite on his shoulder that causes his to back away and survey who she was. He laughs as he realizes.

The mare tries to bite him again, but this time he avoids her attack. The golden mare he was trying to steal for his cousin was ready to back this other mare up, making his assumption correct. This Lustiano mare was the Lead here and the mare that has defeated Warsaw in battle. He knew his cousin to be a strong fighter, but Cullen had also bested him even now with all their experience on the islands. Cullen was still the better fighter. "I look forward to fighting you one day, mare. Better pop that kid out first because you'll need all your strength to defeat me." He laughs, eyeing the Lustiano's growing barrel.

The palomino mutt turns and travels back to the sea, his laugh lingering in the aftermath of this recent struggle.
