He was finally successful at something! He could tell by the swell of Adelia's barrel that she was indeed pregnant with his foal. His brother was proud since he was the only one to impregnate one of the Lagoon's trinkets, but Augustine was proud of himself for a different reason. Making it with a girl was wonderous especially after his father had been training him for this day since his mother escaped. He knew Adelia wanted to escape to, but for long as she was here he hopes to grow even closer to the mare. He didn't care where she ended up or where she lived, as long as they stayed where they were now in their relationship.

The bay stallion grazes lazily on this autumn day. He tries to fill his belly, maybe even overfill, because he knew winter would soon be here. The unbearable heat of the Lagoon was gone and the weather was more manageable now. He was comfortable except for the linger of unbred mares that stunk up the place. Cullen says he was working on that, but some mares were harder to convince than others. It didn't help the majority of the mares here were captives and very unhappy about their current situation. Augustine wonders if he could sway their minds, but he knows he couldn't win every time. He couldn't get so lucky like he has with Adelia.

The Fjord mare was constant in his mind lately as he dreams of what their child will look like. It was an exciting feeling. The stallion finds it hard to stand still any longer the more he thought about the unbred females lingering around the Lagoon and his bonita Adelia. His ears swivel atop his skull and his head raises to greet someone approaching.
