She fought the urge to run to Raider everyday. It wouldn't be right to come crying on his shoulder with all her stress and hurt from losing Angel and the trust of her father. She had just gained trust for Rougaru when he returned to the islands and they met for the first time, but now she knew why mother always said he was unimportant. She felt terribly for the child they were currently raising and for the unborn siblings that grows in her mother's belly now. Neither of them deserved to be parents.
Needless to say, Solaris was delighted when she learned Ylva had come to make an arrangement to see her. Ylva was a dear old friend, more than a friend back then, but she left those feelings behind to make her life less complicated. It worked at first, but her feelings for Ylva just projected more onto Raider. Her life was even more complicated now than it was back then!
The bay overo left Galexia back with Rougaru and promptly takes to the sea for the commons. She reaches the meadow in record time, causing herself some coughing spells once she reaches the shore. It takes a handful of minutes for the mare to collect herself, but once she does, Solaris races around the meadow in search of her Fjord friend. It took only seconds for her to start crying when she finally spots her. She rushes to the mare, places her forehead against her neck, and begins to sob.
