Leilyn was growing stronger every day so Desirie felt it was time she took her daughter around the islands and then to see Liland. It was best to do all this before winter set in and the waters got too cold and daring so now was the best time to go. Desirie left Libra behind as she took to the sea with her youngest daughter. She figures the Falls might be a good place to start so she guides the grullo filly across the salty waters to the Falls. She helps pull Leilyn from the ocean as they reach the shore and begin to shake the water from their coats. Desirie grooms her daughter's coat to ensure she dries fairly quickly before they start to move inland.
The two walk to the Falls, but they weren't there long before Desirie hears someone coming. She could smell his scent, Liland. She stops her daughter from advancing further with a touch of her muzzle and then her eyes guide the filly to the stallion that drinks on the other side. With a small smile, Desirie whinnies at him to grab his attention if he hasn't already noticed their presence. Leilyn smiles brightly when she sees it was her father. The grullo filly wags her tail and bounces around the body of water towards him. Desirie follows after her with a chuckle. "Hello Liliand. I was just about to come to see you once we left here, but this saves us a trip." She says as they get within talking distance.
Leilyn rushes up to her father and nuzzles his nearest leg. "Daddy!" She says in the sweet little voice of hers. Desirie notices something on Liland's face, or maybe it was just instinct. "How are you doing Liland? You seem troubled." She asks him with concern. It has been weeks since they last saw each other, but wondered what could have happened to make Liliand look sad. He had his old home back, but maybe he was unsuccessful in gaining back Zjeena.
