The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.

He could feel her gaze on him as he drew closer so he was clear to show his strength, arching his proud neck and showing off his thick muscles. The scars, both old and fresh, riddled his skin and he wore them proudly to show off his survival instinct and his prowess in battle, even at his young age. He could see that she was no damsel herself, her proud head lifted to greet him, but she didn't wrinkle her nostrils in disgust as he approached or flatten her ears in anger. She only looked curious, a refreshing change from the usual. When she reached out her muzzle, he drew in her sweet perfume. She gave her name as Daciana and said she was from the Badlands. His ears pricked when she named the new territory as her home. "Interesting."

He couldn't help but admit it. He didn't picture a mare taking it over, not because she was weak or anything of the sort, but because most probably wouldn't look at the territory as the place to build a thriving herd, more like a rogue bachelor group or something. But then, he wasn't one to judge. He was planning on showing a herd could thrive here, after all. She said that she'd come to see who inhabits this place and he smirked, tossing his head. "Well, here I am." His eyes gleamed with approval when she said it had a capable stallion. About time someone noticed. He didn't mind mares taking over. He didn't know why they would choose the burden of defending a herd and all its inhabitants instead of letting a stallion do that kind of work but he wouldn't tell a mare what they could and couldn't do, not unless they were one of his mares, that is.

She said that he was worthy of an alliance and he tilted his head, studying her for a moment before he replied. "Then I accept your alliance, Daciana. I look forward to getting to know the girl next door." He gave a teasing wink and swished his tail, wondering if she would leave to her duties now or stay and get to know him a little more. He didn't mind her company at all.
