He had no reason to think his position as a lead stallion was in danger. Not with his Queen as the victorious party. With Xiomara, he had basked in her power, believing the gods sent her to send some kind of message. He felt himself falling back onto that dark path he once followed as a younger stallion. The path of power has always been the road he walks, but the sky used to be much darker in the past. Morrigan urged him to get stronger, she toyed with him daily. They fought daily, he raped her, she left him for someone else. They had two colts together, the first one was born dead and the second became unknown to him. He convinced himself this was love, the kind of love he deserved to get stronger, but that wasn't what he needed. He left the islands to escape his feeling for the inky black Friesian bend on a warpath. She would have loved this talk of war. She would be so proud of him.

She didn't matter anymore.

Vita Nova came into his life as he struggles between the path of good and evil. She was slowly driving him in a better direction and though their relationship was rocky for years, before all this trouble with Xiomara, it was perfect. They had each other, they had twin sons, and they were happy. At least Warsaw was happy and comfortable in their relationship. They fought less and spent most of their days in love like normal couples, but now they barely spoke. He could feel her slipping away and the pain it caused him was agonizing. He engulfed himself in his war plans and his battles to ignore the stabbing in his heart. He was becoming something worse with the promise that Xiomara would give him some attention. That the bold warrioress would spawn him a warrior that no one could defeat. He needs such a warrior to keep his Kingdom under his command.

But then Vita Nova rose and fought her. She fought for her family and her rights as the Queen of Tinuvel. The gods granted her passage to victory. Warsaw used that inspiration to make his steps in restoring their kingdom. He marched to the Bay and challenged Liliand for control. Course he had to add his twist to the battle, but that was for Liland's benefit. When the battle was done he promptly returns to the Inlet to find the results of Vita Nova's battle with Xiomara. Her call of summons told the story, she has won. He moves to approach the herd, at first admiring how himself and his Queen both wore the wounds of battle. Warsaw's chest swells from the strikes of Liliand's hooves and a bruise marks his left knee.

His eyes watch Nova and Tauri as they walk in the opposite direction of their leader. Warsaw snorts, but this wasn't unexpected out of Nova. She was probably pissed at who the victor was. He gives a nod of his skull of Neon and Neferyt but passes them by and moves closer to his Queen and their son. The small nicker of little Ironclad turns his eyes behind him where the dark grey colt was catching up. Ironclad and Warsaw exchange a quick nuzzle before the colt races up to his mother and his brother. His muzzle reaches up to touch his mother's. "Mom?" His eyes held concern for the wellbeing of his mother. He was worried about what would happen to their herd now and if she was alright. He also worries about what will happen to Xiomara.

Warsaw watches Vita Nova and their children for a moment before he steps even closer. His eyes fixate on the large bump on her side. Suddenly, his pride in her battle was exchanged for worry. Worry for their unborn child and the life of his mate. "Vita Nova..." Her name echos off his lips as he reaches out to touch her shoulder gently. "I'm sorry you had to do this." He speaks in a whisper, only for her sake. If he would have been stronger she would have never been put in this position.
