She knew she wasn't supposed to be here, but something in her heart said she needed to seek out Zjeena. The mare was her friend and leader for the past year, maybe more, but now her world has been shaken at its core. Everything she knew to be stable in her life with Liland was being striped away peice by peice until now, even the love she saw between Zjeena and Liland was lost. Sabela was beginning to wonder if there really was 'true' love in this world. She wonders if her love for Liland would falter with her newfound fear.

She wonders if their relationship will break just like his relationship with his Queen has. His small fling with Larka didn't end well either. Everyone she was close to in the herd was now gone and she was left watching all her friends turn their backs to Liland. Should she be doing the same? Even if she had new doubts about her lover she could not bring herself to leave him. She loved him, but she also realized he was no longer the stallion she fell in love with in the beginning.

Liland used to pay her more attention, but lately his sights were set upon a new Fjord in the herd. Sabela recognized the mare from Warsaw's herd, but she had never talked to her before. She had no reason to think she was anything but friendly, but jealousy kept her from aproaching. Sabela was jealous at the time Liland spent with her, the effort he put into his new relationship with his new leading lady. She felt he was slipping further and further from her grasp.

Sabela travels deeper into the jungle. This unknown territory was so unfamiliar in yet the scent of her friend was on her nose. She hopes seeing Zjeena could give her some clarity about her said warnings before she departed. Sabela needs to know what her next course should be.
