Liland did not know what was going on in his sons mind. He worried that Rougaru had corrupted him as well. Thats what he felt like Rougaru had done with Zjeena in ways. He has learned his lesson though, to never let his heart envelope another that deeply. It had driven Liland made with anger, with hate and loneliness. That the mares in his herd became wary of him afraid that one wrong word would set him off. He was gonna change that he was going to put Zjeena behind him for the most part.

He studies his son as his son remains silent. He see's his ear go back and his own go back as well and he pulls back to avoid his son's teeth. He waits thought because he is angered in ways by his sons outburst however, he didn't blame him. It just hurt, badly. He only avoided the twins because he was scared, scared of rejection and he was now getting that. This was another reason he could not forgive Rougaru or let it go. But he was letting it go for the time being. He decided to be the bigger stallion in the end.
