Tavas perplexes him, on minute shes screaming and cursing his very existence and the next she is daring to touch him with her featherlike touch. What makes you trust Warsaw? Her question fills the space between them and he raises a brow as he looks into her dark eyes. Quietly he contemplates why she wonders this question, as if she knows something more then he does. He can feel the seed of doubt growing with every word that leaves her dark lips. He had made the decision to join the war brashly and without consideration of his herd, which has grown quickly since arriving here on the Ridge. He turns his glacial gaze away from hers, as he tries to find the words. Yet, nothing leaves his pink lips. First, Tigerlily has questioned his decision and now Tavas. It seems to him, that the gods are warning him of a dark future if he choses to ignore their blatant warnings. He swallows before the words form on his lips. "You are correct Tavas, I had not considered what could happen," the words leave his lips thoughtfully as his gaze returns to hers. He pauses momentarily. "I am not willing to risk all of this," he says as he bumps her and lets his muzzle settle on the supple curve of her neck. He breathes deeply, her scent floods his flaring nostrils. "I did not have so much to risk when I had made my decision to join Warsaw's cause," he says thoughtfully. So much had changed in the recent months. How could he offer up his herd to the atrocities of war?
