The Carden Alvar Christmas Bird Count will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 with a pot luck in late afternoon at the Carden Recreation Centre in Lake Dalrymple. I would be interested in any bird or mammal species you observe that day in the area. There are a few reports of Bald Eagles in the area and winter owls are always possible since there have been several reports from other areas.
