She'd bided her time, watching and waiting as Shaydowfax disappeared somewhere and then Desirie not long after. Illusion could only assume it was time for their children to be born. Snorting softly, she looked back at her own swollen belly. "Not quite ready to come out yet? You'll let me know when it's time. Keep resting and growing strong, little one." She murmured affectionately before she returned to grazing. She only looked up when she saw movement in her peripheral vision and saw Shaydowfax returning to the herd with a small foal in tow. Nickering in greeting, the palomino mare headed toward them, only to pause when Desirie approached first with her own foal in tow. They were adorable! Illusion's eyes widened in shock and happiness as she took in both colts standing proudly by their mother's sides. She trotted closer, her own belly swinging, as she got closer to the two pairs. Slowing down so she didn't get too close into their space, she nickered in greeting and reached out her muzzle. "I trust everything went well for you ladies? They are absolutely perfect. I'm sure they'll be handsome stallions some day." Her ears pricked with interest as she looked from one colt to the other. She did notice the absence of ears on Shaydowfax's colt but he seemed healthy otherwise and Shaydowfax didn't seem concerned so she had to think this was just a glitch in the birthing process. As long as he was happy and healthy, she didn't think it was worth saying anything.
