Xiomara was not typically one for social events. Especially after all the troubles she had just been through. But after resting upon the shores of her new home, she had set out for the Crossing. Worry still weighed heavy in her heart and it was fueling the fire of anger. Angel was not worth her anxieties; in truth she didn’t even know why she was worrying about the wimpy stallion. By time she had finished the swim and pulled herself up onto the new shore, Xiomara had made herself go from calm to furious.


Wide cracked hooves stomped their way further inland until she had gotten to fresh grasses. Lowering her head, she snapped the blades up in hateful bites until a particular scent caught her attention. It was a horse she had met before and he had passed through her not long ago. Who was he again? Oh, right. The Bay stallion that had come to offer alliance and a foal of her choice when they come of age. Azure eyes narrowing thoughtfully, she picked up her head and followed the scent until she spotted the pale hide of the stallion. He certainly wasn’t the proud creature that had been standing upon her once territory borders.


The mare ventured over; her pace quiet until she stopped to stand shoulder to shoulder with him. Her blue eyes looked down at his face in the water rather than at him standing next to her. “You look worse for wear.” she stated. “Debating if it’s all worth it?” Xiomara asked. In a way, she had been debating that herself. But then she would get restless and venture off to war once more. Youth still burned in her veins. In this moment, it was looking like his was dimming out.
