She didn't care what Liland or any of his loyal cronies thought of Zjeena. To her, the cream mare was priceless and meant to be cherished. She was strong and fierce yet had a heart of gold, one probably better than Monster herself possessed. Zjeena was perhaps more forgiving than Monster was. She might not have even wanted to go back to Liland after all he pulled and yet Zjeena loved the stallion, so she'd wanted to take a chance. She was so brave and her courage was rewarded with slavery if Liland had gotten his way. He was so selfish, unable to look past his feud with Rougaru to see the gift he had in front of him when he got Zjeena back. Instead of appreciating her, he wanted to possess her like she was property, his and no one else's. He took away her rights and in doing so, Monster felt he lost his right to her. She was her own mare and she made sure he knew it when she left and came back to Paradise. Monster wouldn't have her anywhere else. Their surprising friendship that started over a spar was a godsend. She teased the other mare about being sexy with some weight and Zjeena asked if she was up for some spars once this was all said and done. Monster laughed and nodded, tossing her head with a cheeky smirk. "Of course. Gotta give you a challenge if you want to burn some calories, right? I feel I may just be the best chance you've got." Her eyes danced with mischief. After a moment, her face sobered a little, her expression softening. "How are you holding up?" She knew Zjeena had been through a lot, if the rumors were considered to be true. Had anyone asked her how she really was? Monster knew Rougaru had his way of comforting others, but did he let her vent? Sometimes, she felt a listening ear could be just as helpful as a comforting neck or shoulder.
