He stands and watches the horses move around in the distance as he remembers the Lagoon when he first returned here. There were only a few stallions here back then and a mare or two, including his mother. The current leader has now come back to them, but he commented Cullen on how much the Lagoon has grown under his rule. If anything was true it was that Cullen has made this place prosper. He went out of his way to get more members and even fought to get a few mares to keep his brothers entertained. Though some of them seemed angry at his treatment of the mares, he had not brought them here for love. They were here for the simple chance that one of his bachelors could spawn a colt to ensure the next generation of the Lagoon. Besides, it seems some of these stallions can't live a life without a female in it.

He spots the Fjord mare that had come with one of his thieves, Adolfo. Augustine had taken a shine to her right away and last autumn they had bred. Cullen knew this because of her large barrel come springtime and the fact that his half brother told him so later on in a converstation. Augustine was his little brother, born of the same mother before she escaped the Lagoon. He wonders if Adelia would do the same one day, escape, and leave Augustine here by himself. The young bay stallion was becoming a charmer so he should be okay in the lady department, but he did not have the skills his father Ernesto had. Since returning, Cullen has learned Ernesto's tongue got him laid a lot. Not so much recently, but he had many more foals than the other bachelors had.

Although he didn't usually converse with any of the mares here Cullen approaches Adelia and the sleeping colt at her side. Zafar was his nephew after all. "I suspect my nephew is growing well mare?" He asks as he grows closer. The Lagoon Boss stops steps away from the mother and sleeping child. Blue eyes ran along the grullo boy's length to study what he could see of his confirmation. He seems strong and healthy as expected from his lineage.
