Mom had never really explained the strange things about my father that made her think of me. There was something about it that got me thinking, that maybe, I’d find him here within the islands. But that was a long shot, who knows right? Maybe he followed mom’s lead and left the islands as well, if he had then I was out of luck to figure out who I really was behind the mask.

My nose bounced the flowers, letting them dance in front of my face as I watched it sway. It was some what entertaining, sure. But that was about it. I wanted more than to stare at dancing flowers. But the way it felt here in the islands, like it was split into three directions. At least, that’s what this whole thing felt like. I wasn’t prepared to take sides, thus, I’d be in this neutral zone, for now at least.

I let my eyes slip closed for a while. Listening to the soft rush of the wind. It wasn’t super strong, just a little breeze. That is, until I heard the footsteps that came closer, and I let my eyes open, watching the male that walked towards me. I let my head tilt to the side, listening to the strange language that he spoke. I have no idea what he said, and lets be honest, I don’t really care.

He asks if I wanna play. And just the way its say gives me a chill down my spine. What was going on with me? Who was he and what exactly did he have in mind? I tip my head to the side, eyes narrowing as I watch his face. “Depends on what exactly your idea of play is.” I wasn’t about to jump right in, but I wasn’t about to ignore it. It was interesting, but I wasn’t about to balk at the idea.
