The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.
bite me

He came galloping back to the Desert with fresh wounds on his coat and a blaze of fury in his eyes. The Bay stallion dared to challenge him for his precious Vihaan? Well, Cain hoped the cream stallion had learned his lesson. Just when the battle seemed lost, Cain pulled forth more strength, thinking of watching that beautiful dunalino leave his sight, and went back into battle, beating back the other stallion and sending him back to his own herd. He shouldn't forget the ferocity of Cain any time soon. Cain himself had a little limp but it was mostly from soreness, and a nice bite to his shoulder. It would heal in time. In the meantime, another breeding season was upon them and he looked upon his herd with new eyes. He wouldn't be forcing anyone to bear him children this go-around, though he did hope some wanted to taste the strength of his seed in their loins.

As if to prove he was still their protector and still ready for battle, Cain tossed his head and reared up, letting out a battle cry fit for a king. Let his mares rejoice that he had come back victorious from battle. Let the other stallions of the islands know that he will never give up so easily. Eventually they would all know his strength and his power, know that he was not one to mess with. He would defend his mares till his dying breath and they would know that they were loved fiercely. He knew he didn't have the largest herd on the islands, but they certainly weren't the rejects either. They were each precious in their own way, full of so much strength and cunning. Each had their own gift in life and Cain felt honored each day that he got to share the same breath with any of them. As he moved further into the Desert, he snatched at a few pieces of grass then lowered his head to take a drink at the Oasis. Glancing around, he wondered if any of his mares would be out and about.
